Ideas & Content

Texts to return to — not merely scroll past.

Essays and reflections on skepticism, practical philosophy, ethics, science, culture, education, work, music and contemporary life. Different themes crossed by the same demand: think more carefully before concluding.

Two paths through the translated archive.

The translated archive is still selective. These paths group essays already available in English without pretending the collection is complete.

The archive remains in motion.

This section is dynamic: new texts enter automatically as they are published. Most are currently available in Portuguese.

Editorial criterion

More inquiry than opinion.

The texts begin from facts, readings, events, research, music or concrete situations. The goal is not to produce an instant position on everything, but to create room for distinctions, legitimate doubts, revision of assumptions and arguments that better resist haste.

Rigor

Distinguish evidence, interpretation, hypothesis and opinion — especially where rhetoric tends to run faster than facts.

Plurality

Consider different perspectives without treating every position as equivalent or using “balance” to erase differences in evidence.

Revision

Treat changing one’s mind as a normal part of thought when new reasons or experiences call for reconsideration.

Experience

Keep reflection connected to lived experience: decisions, relationships, work, art, science, education and public life.

Another way to explore

Some ideas can also be listened to.

In Music & Philosophy, songs, repertoires and concerts become starting points for philosophical, contextual and aesthetic analysis.
